Terms of use

What WholeAway promises, what it explicitly does not, and the rules for using it.

This is an operational draft. It describes the product accurately, but it has not yet been reviewed by qualified legal counsel, and the controller's registered identity and contact address are still to be confirmed. Both are required before public release.

What the service is

WholeAway is a travel planning tool. It estimates what a complete trip would cost and shows destinations that fit a budget you set. It is not a travel agency, it does not sell flights, rooms or tours, and it takes no payment for travel.

What we do not promise

• Availability. A room or fare shown as available may be gone moments later. Nothing here is a reservation.
• Price. Retrieved figures were true when retrieved. Estimated figures were never prices at all. Neither is an offer.
• Entry and health requirements. Visa, passport, vaccination and border rules change and depend on your nationality and route. Check the official source for your situation. WholeAway does not give personal entry advice.

Your side of it

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to scrape it, overload it, or circumvent the rate limits that keep it available for everyone. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping access to it secure and for the accuracy of what you enter.

Accounts and content

You keep your own plans and notes. We do not claim ownership of them. We may suspend an account that is used to attack the service or to harm other users.

Third-party providers

Some figures and content come from third parties named in the privacy policy. Their terms govern their own services. Where a provider is unavailable, WholeAway shows the gap rather than substituting a guess.

Liability

Decisions you make from estimates are yours. To the extent permitted by law, WholeAway is not liable for losses arising from acting on an estimate, from a provider's data, or from a change in availability or price.

Changes

These terms will change as the product does. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page.
